What Changed for 2026

• NX — the naturally aspirated NX 250 was discontinued, making the turbocharged NX 350 the entry point for gas models, and the NX 350h hybrid is now available with front-wheel drive.
• RX — the plug-in RX 450h+ gained a Premium grade below the Luxury, and wireless phone charging became standard across the lineup.
• RZ — a new RZ 550e F SPORT AWD joins the range, and the RZ adopted the North American Charging System port for access to Tesla Supercharger locations.
• IS — the lineup is now a single variant, the IS 350, offered in F SPORT Design and F SPORT grades. The four-cylinder IS 300 and V8 IS 500 were both discontinued.
• LX — an F SPORT Appearance Package arrives, offered exclusively on the LX 700h F SPORT Handling.
• GX — a one-inch suspension lift becomes standard on Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades, and prewired auxiliary switches and an onboard air compressor are now standard on those grades.

2026 Lexus RX Powertrains and Efficiency

The RX is the volume seller of the group, and it’s the one model line where you choose between four distinct powertrains rather than two. The spread runs from a turbocharged gas four to a 366-horsepower performance hybrid.

RX Grades

Lexus offers the RX in seven grades: Standard, Premium, Premium+, Luxury, F SPORT Design, F SPORT Handling, and F SPORT Performance. The GX comes standard with full-time 4WD and a Torsen limited-slip locking center differential across all six grades — Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail and Overtrail+. The LX is offered in Premium, F SPORT Handling, Luxury, Ultra Luxury and Overtrail grades.
